Folding & Sliding Glass Panels For Glass Rooms
Fixed and sliding glass panels provide the flexibility to adapt a Terrazza glass roof to provide additional protection from the elements.
While the roof system can be installed as a standalone unit for overhead shelter, a key benefit is it can be combined with moveable and/or fixed vertical glazing to maximise usage in changeable weather conditions.
Protecting one or two sides will restrict side winds while maintaining an airy space and a feeling of openness. Choosing to enclose all three sides creates a higher level of temperature control and often a more usable living space.
You likely already have a vision in mind regarding how you want to use your new living space. This will help you understand how enclosed you would like your space to be, and how many sides you would like.
One consideration is whether you want the flexibility to adapt the space according to each day’s weather conditions. Weinor offer some fantastic retractable glass panels which slide and turn, even around corners. Fixed vertical glazing is available in a choice of transparency and support levels, depending on where your priorities lie.
All panels have been developed specifically to fit the various sizes and shapes of Terrazza roof. Our talented surveyors will answer any questions you may have and arrange the technical side of things. Once we have designed your perfect space all components are manufactured to order in Germany and we’ll book you in for your installation.
Weinor’s Glasoase room differs from a traditional conservatory in that it’s more of a bridge between indoors and out, rather than an extension of the home.
While each panel is formed from thick safety glass, they are not insulated as this would require heavier solid framing and detract from the floor-to-ceiling uninterrupted panoramic views which make it so unique. Adding vertical glazing to your glass roof still provides a high level of comfort and increases its usability in various weather conditions, while sleek integrated heating can keep things cosy late into the evening.
Yes – the slide and turn partition is suitable for existing balconies. Speak to the sales office for more information on purchasing the panels as a standalone item.
