Playing safe in the sun, thanks to new high-tech awning:

Children and staff at Hope House children’s hospice, can spend time playing and relaxing in the summer sunshine thanks our gift of a high-tech awning.

We are thrilled to share our donation of one of our state-of-the-art shading solutions to Hope House children’s hospice, which can be easily controlled to provide shade for various garden activities including play, picnics and care in the fresh air.

Roché is proud to have installed the Markilux Planet, an advanced awning system designed to offer optimal flexibility and comfort with its 335 degree rotation abilities. This is the perfect solution which enables the shade to be moved to wherever it is needed so that children, parents and staff can make full use of the outdoor area throughout the day.

Hope House Children’s Hospice is a charity that gives every local child with a life-threatening condition and their family access to professional care and improves their quality of life from the point of diagnosis.

Hope House Nursing Manager Hayley Woodcock thanked Roché for their wonderful gesture.

She said: “It’s been lovely to see children, staff and families being able to safely enjoy being outside on sunny days. We have some beautiful gardens at Hope House and the new awning has allowed us to make the most of them during the summer. Our specialist care and therapies team have been able run music, play and art sessions, as well simply relaxing in the fresh air. Thank you Roché for this incredibly kind donation.”
